Namita Nayyar:

You have studied at Queen Margaret’s School, York. And later worked for My Beautiful City, a creative agency in Soho, before starting your own marketing and brand-strategy Consultant Company. You have also worked for Robin Birley, in public relations for Gleneagles. Later you took start your career in modeling. Tell us more about this fairy tale journey?

Lady Violet Manners:

It hasn’t been all a fairy tale. There’s been a lot of hard work but I’ve always just followed my instinct and interests and thrown myself, my creativity and my mind into everything I’ve done to date. They say variety is the spice of life and I have to agree, my career thus far has been a winding one full of variety and I don’t intend on changing that anytime soon.

Namita Nayyar:

You have set up your own consultancy. Elaborate the work you are doing in this passionate endeavour of yours?

Lady Violet Manners:

Relationships are at the core of everything we believe. We know that not knowing is the real answer. With not knowing, there are no preconceptions and this allows us to creatively respond to emerging opportunities.

We foster and encourage meaningful and purposeful relationships and emergent approaches. There is no better way, in these times of great uncertainty. We do not work to process, nor do we have systems or fixed ways of working. We tailor what we do to your changing needs and those of your organisation.

Akana Collective collaborates with people who share our purpose and values. Together, with our clients, we will enable meaningful and powerful presence.

Namita Nayyar:

You are leading media personality, model, socialite, businesswoman, marketing and brand-strategy consultant. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?

Lady Violet Manners:

I think as I’ve said variety is the spice of life and if you’re fortunate enough to be born into life where there’s so much opportunity providing you’re willing to work hard and go grab it, it would be the biggest shame and waste not to make the most of what the universe blessed me with.
