In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops a pesky, painful lip pimple ready to burst. Say goodbye to this itty bitty bugger.

In the clip, Dr. Lee nicks the pimple, which is on the edge of the patient’s lip. Anyone who has ever had a blemish in that area knows how bothersome (and surprisingly painful) these bumps can be. But with a simple squeeze, the pimple is drained of goo and the patient is ready to go.

Many commenters questioned why a patient would come in for a seemingly simple pop. In the comments of the clip, Dr. Lee explained the story behind this particular removal.

“This patient did come to the office for other reasons, and I helped her to get rid of this,” Dr. Lee explains. “Many of the smaller pops you see come about from me noticing something during a patient’s appointment and asking if I can film it. Also removing pimples in this are can be painful because of the delicate skin. In the office, I was able to give some numbing.”

For anyone who has stood in front of a mirror with a pin to their lip, this option certainly sounds a whole lot better.

As one fan simply commented, “Those hurt like hell.”
